T O P I C R E V I E WHu_w_ryl_AI've been wondering for a while now:What's the difference between two planets conjunct in the SAME SIGN as opposed to planets conjunct but in DIFFERENT SIGNS (for example, Venus at 1 degrees Taurus conjunct Mercury at 29 degrees Aries)?Does anyone know ------------------*DRACONIC SOUL SELF*Sun + Venus - LEOMoon + Psyche - SAGASC + Uranus/Neptune - ARIRandallBump!Capguy75I'd love to hear some interpretations myself. I'd heard that the conjunction doesn't count because the boundary between the signs effectively seals off the two planets from each other, however that sounds a little extreme...Jessica2407Well the energies of these planets will be modified and will be felt differently when the conjunction occurs out of sign as opposed to when it's within the same sign, it could even cause strain depending on the degrees of each planet and whether they are in friendly signs, for instance venus-mars out of sign conjunctions often show divorce in a female chart.RandallThanks, Jessica.RandallBump!GrahamThink of the three signs as the primary light sources - blue, green and red ... http://www.clipartmax.com/png/middle/186-1865458_rgb-color-model-primary-colors-of-light.png Planets in the same sign will manifest as (pure) blue/green/red ... and planets in adjoining signs will manifest as (blended) cyan/magenta/yellow.Pure = same element (Fire, Earth, Water, Air) + same quality (Cardinal, Fixed, Mutable) and same nature (extroverted, introverted).Blended = two elements + 2 qualities + 2 natures.For example :-Pure Aries = fire + cardinal + extroverted = enthusiastic + self-starter + direct.Aries/Pisces = fire-water + cardinal-mutable + introverted-extroverted = enthusiastic and compassionate + adaptable self-starter + can interact both directly and indirectly.Aries/Taurus = fire-earth + cardinal-fixed + introverted-extroverted = enthusiastic and grounded + unadaptable self-starter + can interact both directly and indirectly.However ... how two planets in conjunction actually manifest as behaviour/personality traits will (very much) depend upon which of them is most comfortable (by sign, house and aspects). ... For example, Mars in fall/Cancer is akin to casting Clint Eastwood as Mary Poppins ("do ya feel lucky, kids/punks?") Does anyone know

Planets in the same sign will manifest as (pure) blue/green/red ... and planets in adjoining signs will manifest as (blended) cyan/magenta/yellow.
Pure = same element (Fire, Earth, Water, Air) + same quality (Cardinal, Fixed, Mutable) and same nature (extroverted, introverted).
Blended = two elements + 2 qualities + 2 natures.
For example :-
Pure Aries = fire + cardinal + extroverted = enthusiastic + self-starter + direct.
Aries/Pisces = fire-water + cardinal-mutable + introverted-extroverted = enthusiastic and compassionate + adaptable self-starter + can interact both directly and indirectly.
Aries/Taurus = fire-earth + cardinal-fixed + introverted-extroverted = enthusiastic and grounded + unadaptable self-starter + can interact both directly and indirectly.
However ... how two planets in conjunction actually manifest as behaviour/personality traits will (very much) depend upon which of them is most comfortable (by sign, house and aspects). ... For example, Mars in fall/Cancer is akin to casting Clint Eastwood as Mary Poppins ("do ya feel lucky, kids/punks?")
